The Orleans is a locals casino west of the Las Vegas Strip. It opened on December 28, 1996. It is one of the largest casinos away from the Las Vegas Strip. It spreads 135,000 square feet of casino space and 1,885 hotel rooms. It started out as a small gaming establishment. The current resort is the result of a massive expansion in later years.

Casual dining options include Coasta Cantina, Big Al’s Oyster Bar, the 24-hour Courtyard Café, Koji, TGI Friday’s and the buffet. There is a food court near the poker room. It includes a 24-hour Fuddruckers, Subway, Sbarro and Baskin Robbins.

Beyond the three casino bars, The Orleans offers several Las Vegas style lounges. Brendan’s Irish Pub and Bourbon Street Cabaret offer live lounge acts. Buzz’N Brushes is a bar suited for artists or those wanting to become one.
